"My Primitive Tulip" rug is published
You can find the rug in Rug Hookers Magazine's new book, Designs, Patterns for Rug Hookers.
I was so excited to have made the cover of the book.
Hi Lois-I am program director for the Little Rhody Thrummers RI rug hooking group. We are having a meeting at the Cumberland Library on Nov. 14 and wondered if you would like to be part of our program. If so, could you do a trunk show and bring patterns, etc. for sale? We would like to have you come at 1 pm. Our meetings are from 10-3. Please let me know if you are interested. Thank you. Sue Brayman
My name is Lois Roy; I am a self-taught folk artist. I enjoy creating primitive folk art.
I enjoy working with old doors and shutters to make new pieces of furniture.
About 3 years ago I fell in love with Rug Hooking. But when I tried wool dyes, I was Hooked! I love to mix dyes and the challenge of making new wool look old and dirty.
You can find my work on eBay and www.oldescottiesprimitives.com
